The artist
Sturtz are a Boulder trio, Andrew Sturtz, Courtlyn Carpenter and Will Kuepper, playing guitar, cello and upright bass, with three-part harmony over the top.
Their songs sit where folk meets Americana: intimate and resonant, built out of texture and careful writing rather than volume. Nothing about it is showy, which is harder to pull off than it sounds.
They set up in front of the racks and played it live.
